Justifiable low wage labor?
A small fashion company named Haeftling[German] is producing Clothing, Textiles and Liquor through prison labor. The key to their success is that the items are designed and constructed by inmates. According to "From the Jailhouse to the Runway" the prisoners are paid only about $15 a day for a full 8 hour work day, this is an improvement over the approximatly $1 a day allowance from the govt. but now how are those child-labor workers going to make their $.60 a day if they are competing with these prisoners?
